The Cry continues

Dear ministry partners,

Good News! Jesus has opened up the doors for us all over Barranquilla Colombia now for the 6th time since 2012! Jesus is still working miracles here in this beautiful Nation! As our ministry team met with many local Pastors and leaders, it was evident to me, that families all over the city are crying out to God for their children and families to be saved, healed and set free by the power of the Gospel. So my desire to walk with God and see their dreams come true!

The Cry for souls continues! As we continue to respond to Gods heart to Go into the no go places with  the Gospel, many are crying out to God for their loved ones. Therefore we have much work to do, and we are so thankful for all of you who help us, may God continue to bless you.

I began to pray and seek Gods heart for our time in Colombia early Feb 19th, just before heading into El Bosque. I knew this prison as a very broken place, where many live hopelessly passing times. It also hit my heart that these are the very people we are crying out to God for, to save, heal and deliver. As we arrived at the gates.

We faced great opposition by some religious people outside El Bosque prison but God made a way for us to get inside. We ministered to over 75 inmates, and 30 men surrendered their hearts to Jesus! We gave out 40 copies of my new book "Break Out - A Criminal's Journey to Eternal Freedom".
God continued to move and He took us to some new expanded territory we had never seen before. He took us to displaced children and families who are living in extreme poverty and brokenness. The backgrounds of their life would simply blow your mind. Please enjoy some pictures below and be sure to see more pictures here.
In Villa Nueva over 30 surrender their hearts to Jesus during a late night revival street meeting. The Holy Spirit was poured out in a very special way and hearts were changed. Many addicts and broken families are experiencing the reconciling love of God already.
The Holy Spirit was poured out on over 75 inmates in the El Bosque prison. With many others in their cells all around us listening and receiving the Gospel I believe this was a time of refreshing for everyone!
Dianna and Daniel lead a lady to Jesus alongside two local Pastors. What a team effort and a picture of Gods heart wrapping this lady in the Love of God. She was also receiving inner healing as she is loved on by Dianna.
Ministering in Palermo Barranquilla Colombia to over 80 Children the beautiful Gospel. These children live in extreme poverty and having time with them radically changed my heart and life! Thank you to Leonardo for all His hard work here. We will be able to return with more support for our friend Leonardo.

Walking trails to get to families on this small Island. We have taken most of the day to spend here sharing the Love of Jesus praying with families and learning about their living situations so we can help during our next visit.
A picture to show you a nice place on the Island. These families will sell these plants they have grown and other things to make a living.

Elkhart Indiana School blessing

I would like to share with you one of many letters I receive requesting my new book Break Out - A Criminals Journey to Eternal Freedom. We have sent the books to these precious students, thanks to the support of some faithful sponsors.

"Dear Jed,
I was really excited when I heard about your book and was looking forward to reading it.  As soon as it was available for pre-order, I ordered it and was excited it was being shipped soon thereafter.  When I got it, I could hardly put it down and read it fairly quickly.  While reading it, at various times throughout the book, a local school was on my heart.

I kept thinking, "the kids at this school need this book."  I felt this very strongly and I knew the Holy Spirit was speaking to me about it.  The school he was talking to me about is a private school for troubled teens in Elkhart, IN where I live.

It's a high school for kids who have been expelled from public schools, or who have been in legal trouble, or similar situations.  One member of the staff told me they're the most troubled teens in the state of Indiana.  It was really on my heart to speak with the administrators about the book and see if they'd let me gift the books to them to add to their curriculum.  After speaking with them and lending them my copy to read, they've said they love the book and would love to get it into the hands of the students.

Their budget for curriculum is tight and it's still on my heart to give them the initial bunch for the first 75 books, which would cover the students and a few staff members.  They also have some more schools throughout the state of Indiana and are expecting to expand into surrounding states for the next school year, so this is an opportunity to reach some of the most troubled teens all throughout the Midwest!

For now, if you can help me raise $375 we can get the initial bunch of books to this years class!  I'm excited about the opportunity and the school's administrators have also expressed excitement.  With financial support, we can do this!

Thank you!
Carol-Ann Abraham"

Lay low

That I may live only for Your Kingdom purposes.
Come Holy Spirit. The Kingdom is Yours. The power is yours. The glory belongs to you!

Lay low with Jesus. He is the only One who can light up your day, and the path before you. Break the cycle of selfishness, through encountering the Holy Spirit. the presence of God, brings us to our faces, where we invest in the lives of others because Jesus loves them that much. When you get low with Jesus , He makes your vision clear.

Phil 2:3-4 (NLT) 3 Don’t be selfish; don’t try to impress others. Be humble, thinking of others as better than yourselves. 4 Don’t look out only for your own interests, but take an interest in others, too.

God today, I lay down any selfish motives that cause me to please man. I step out in faith today, that I may love more. Especially You! My family and those I cross paths with every day. I decide to lay low at the feet of Jesus so I may stand firmly and know where I am going. I desperately need Your help God, Amen.

Looking out to the interests of others (online dictionary)
in·ter·est - ˈint(ə)rəst/
Noun: plural noun: interest - the state of wanting to know or learn about something or someone.

I woke up early today, and began to feel the presence of the Lord. I prayed early before my kids and wife woke up, and began to cover them and the day in prayer. As I sought the Lord, i felt Him breaking off of me, my old ways of thinking with His desire to love.

So today i encourage you, to walk with God, lay low and love lavishly.

God bless you and your family today,

Jed Lindstrom
